Fewer Fatal Crashes in North Dakota
There were fewer fatal crashes in North Dakota last year.
The Highway Patrol released a preliminary report showing 136 people died in 122 crashes in 2014.
In 2013, 148 people were killed in 133 crashes.
Last year, troopers made about 300 fewer DUI arrests and gave out about 300 more seat belt citations.
They also worked an additional 1,000 hours of overtime to enhance public safety.
