Another scam warning from Moorhead Public Service.

Some customers have been getting bogus calls demanding immediate payment.

Some of the calls have been automated.

MPS uses automated messages to call people with past due balances but does not demand direct payment.

They say you should never provide financial information over the phone.

If you receive such a call, hang up immediately and call MPS.
