Devils Lake Man Pleads Guilty in Fatal Bar Brawl
A Devils Lake man pleads guilty to felony aggravated assault in a bar brawl that left a man dead.
Carlos Mendez Jr. was charged last summer in the October 2013 assault outside of Old Town Bar in Mandan.
Jeff Pach fell to the ground and hit his head during a fight with Mendez.
He later died.
An autopsy determined Pach’s death was the result of a blunt head injury and alcohol intoxication.
