Appeals Court Sides with Lower Court in School Bomb Plot
The Minnesota Court of Appeals has affirmed a lower court decision to dismiss the most serious counts against a teen accused of plotting to attack Waseca Junior and Senior High School.
The judges wrote that they can’t speculate whether then 17-year-old John Ladue would have carried out his plan.
He was arrested last April after authorities found him with bomb-making materials in a storage locker and a journal outlining plans to kill his family then attack the school.
Ladue still faces six counts of possessing explosives.
