Celtic Festival In Moorhead

 Thousands help celebrate Celtic heritage at the Hjemkomst Center in Moorhead.
 
The center was filled with the sounds of traditional Celtic music.

There were also several presentations throughout the day with topics ranging from wine traditions to Irish and Scottish songs for children.

Several hands on activities and displays were spread throughout the festival.
 
“I’m Irish and I’ve always wanted to come and I forgot about it and my nephew came down from Grand Forks to visit and we decided to come and do this. Wonderful, it’s been a good experience. My grandson is doing all the crafts and so it’s been really good,” said Judy Pris of West Fargo.
 
This was the 12th year for the festival.
