Minn-Kota Feline Club Cat Show

It may be the Easter bunny’s weekend but it doesn’t stop cat lovers from competing, judging and watching the 70th and 71st annual cat show.

Nearly 100 cats competed to get their paws on a winning ribbon at the Minn–Kota Feline Club Cat Show.

Each judge picks the top ten household, adult and alter cats and kittens to win.

Event organizers say the show is a tradition making it a purr–fect event to come see.

“We’ve got the same people come back year after year, they just enjoy the show. It’s a good family thing,” says Show Manager Lil Borg.

While some are enjoying time with their families, competitors are enjoying presenting their pets.

“This is my hobby, these are my friends, and it’s fun to show off something you are so proud of,” says exhibitor Chris Buck.

The show is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
