Pancake Karnival Sets Record

The annual Pancake Karnival was a record breaker.

For the first time in 57 years of the event, the Kiwanis Club of Fargo raised over $50-thousand.

Nearly 11-thousand people ate 20-thousand pancakes at the Karnival in February at the Fargodome.

The Kiwanis has also started dishing out some of that cash.

They awarded grants between $500 and $2500 to The Rape and Abuse Crisis Center, YMCA, Trollwood and FMCT.
