Help for Those Who Struggle with Parkinson’s Disease

Caregivers and those with Parkinson’s disease gathered in Fargo to learn how to live better lives with the disease.

In the seventh year of this Parkinson’s symposium, presentations by medical professionals and therapists covered an array of subjects such as nutrition and hospital care.

Vendor booths were also on display showcasing their resources.

North Dakota has the third highest rate of Parkinson’s disease in the nation per capita.

In the F-M area, more than 3,000 people are victims of the disease.
