Artists and venders come together at Hjemkomst Center for Scandinavian Festival

MOORHEAD (KVRR) — Music, food, and Scandinavian traditions drew families to the Hjemkomst Center for the annual Scandinavian Festival.
Organizers say the event gives people a chance to celebrate their heritage, learn something new, and connect with others.
Stepping inside of the festival, you will find Vendors selling clothing and items of Nordic culture.
People are seen enjoying cuisines from around the world.
Performers throughout the day include singers and dancers.
“Our performers, (…) most of them are local, but we also get some international people. In fact, one of our performers just flew back from Finland where he was on tour,” said organizer Marit Hordvikn.
The Festival continues Saturday from 9:30-4:30.
