Hoeven Speaks at Disabled American Veterans Convention

Veterans put their lives on the line for us and now North Dakota Sen. John Hoeven wants to make sure they have long term care.

Hoeven thanks veterans for their service at the Disabled American Veterans Convention and talks about his hopes of passing The Veterans Access to Extended Care Act.

He says the legislation would give veterans better access to health and long term care.

Hoeven says it’s important to show appreciation to those who have served by passing this legislation.

“This is about all of our veterans, as I say, who have served and who continue to serve and we have to make sure we don’t just say thank you, but we’re there to help them with long term care and medical care,” says Hoeven.

He is also co–sponsoring the Veterans Access to Community Care Act that would give veterans access to health care services in their community.
