Hundreds from throughout the valley are making their way to this year’s Valley Vintage Car Show.

It’s the show’s 39th year.

The Valley Vintage Car Show is rolling into town with dozens of classic cars ready to share their history.

Curt Berg is showing us one of his prized possessions; a 1932 5 Window Coupe.

It was restored in 1995.

“The reason it means a lot to me is my friend built it at that time and he was extremely excited about the car and it got lost,” said Berg.

It was sold at an auction years after it was restored and ended up in Florida.

He ended up searching for the car, and then buying it back.

The Jacobsen family is curious about Bergs classic.
They come from a line of car enthusiasts.

“They literally do not make cars with the details and all that, that they always used to,” said Roy Jacobsen of Fargo.

This year’s show also has a unique addition, a car simulator.

The vintage car show isn’t just about the cars; it’s also about the community and making connections.

“There’s just so many wonderful people that have gotten to be my friends from going to car shows that, that’s the most important,” said Berg.

Organizers also say it’s about family.

“Great place to bring some kids out and show them what their parents had when they were younger and stuff and it’s family oriented here this show,” said Valley Vintage Car Club President Rick Weaver.

“Like whatever you do in life, it’s the people that are around you that make it exciting and fun,” said Berg.

It’s a time for families, car enthusiast, and collectors to get a feel of how others rode many years ago.

The show runs through Sunday.
Admission is $8; kids age 14 and under get in free with a paying adult.
