Not Your Typical Prom Outfit
Carharrt bibs overalls prom dress
Two Moorhead High School Seniors decide to go to their last prom in a unique way.
Six months ago, Kathrine Fisher joked by saying that she wanted a prom dress made out of overalls.
Soon that joke turned into reality.
She found thirty five dollar Carhartt bibs and a ten dollar thrift store dress.
Her prom date Andy showed his support by sporting a Carhartt pants and matching hat and also a redesigned jacket and tie.
The couple says that this is a once in a lifetime experience.
“Well, I’ve always liked to be different, I never liked to fit in really, I guess, and I thought it would be a nice idea and it would be durable so it wouldn’t fall apart.” Says Katherine Fisher.
“You know, something different like this you’re always going to remember it, you’re never going to forget,” says Andy Harmann, Katherine’s prom date.
Katherine and Andy will be attending MSTATE, joining the Diesel Equipment Technology program and they are sponsored by Titan Machinery.
