Kids Celebrate Their Differences
Local students learn how being different isn’t a bad thing!
Students at Lincoln Elementary in Fargo celebrate Diversity Day.
Kindergarten through fifth graders heard from presenters on how other cultures and physical differences make us unique.
17 languages are represented by students at Lincoln Elementary.
Lincoln Elementary Counselor Nancy Tisor said, “Our goal has been not to just focus on the culture piece but truly look at all the pieces of all of us that make each one of us unique and I think that’s our goal for today, to look at all of those differences and really celebrate them all.”
Over 500 students at Lincoln participated in this year’s Diversity Day.
