Body Recovered From Jewett Lake Identified

The body of a man recovered from Jewett Lake has been identified as 59-year-old Michael Cadreau of Martinez, California.

Otter Tail County officials responded to a person who had capsized his boat on Friday night near Fergus Falls.

Family members had heard Martinez yelling for help but couldn’t get to him in time.

Search teams found his body Sunday morning.

He was the only occupant of the boat and was not wearing a life preserver.
