Rain Causes Power Outage in Moorhead

If you live in North Moorhead, the rain may have affected your power Sunday morning.

The heavy rain led to a power outage for nearly 1,500 customers. It was caused by a flooded Moorhead substation.

Customers were affected around 11:15 Sunday morning and it lasted for about a half hour.

Crews were able to shut down the substation and re-route power to customers.
