UND Athletics Holding Open Tryouts for PA Announcers

The University of North Dakota Athletics Department is hosting open tryouts for public address announcers at UND football, men’s basketball and women’s basketball games for the 2015-16 season.

Those interested in attending the tryouts should submit their name, phone number and summary of any prior public address experience to UND Athletics Associate Director of Marketing Jason Namanny (jason.namanny@athletics.und.edu) by May 31 in order to be added to the tryout roster. Prior public address experience is not required.

During the tryouts, attendees will be asked to read from a prepared script, introduce starting lineups, and simulate game situations for judges.

The tryouts will take place in June.
