Major windfall for local girl’s nonprofit

FARGO — BIO girls is getting a generous donation from Choice Bank to aid in its mission of growing girls’ confidence.

The $100,000 donation is a part of an ongoing relationship with the nonprofit.

BIO Girls is a preventive mental wellness program designed for adolescent girls in grades 2–6.

The program has helped an estimated 16,000 girls across the state.

Bio Girls officials say they do outreach for all girls no matter their financial situation.

The funding will help BIO Girls grow its reach, helping more girls build confidence, resilience, and positive mental health skills.
