Boy Taken To Hospital After ATV Accident

A 13-year-old boy is taken to the hospital after an ATV accident.

He was riding the four wheeler around 11:30 this morning in Underwood, MN. The four wheeler flipped over backwards pinning him under.

His mother heard him yelling and got the ATV off of him. He was taken to Lake Region Hospital by ambulance for minor injuries and for treatment for burns on several areas of his body.

The burns were caused by hot oil from the four-wheeler when it flipped over.

The boy was later taken to the Hennepin County Medical Center Burn Unit.
