CNH Announces More Job Cuts
A tough farm market is being blamed for more layoffs at C-N-H, the Case New Holland Industrial plant in Fargo.
They say 38 full-time employees will be cut as the company responds to what it calls “market conditions”, the ripple effect from the slumping farm economy.
Workers were informed yesterday of the pending indefinite layoffs.
They will begin next month and should be finished in July.
It brings the total number of layoffs at C-N-H to nearly 160 in just 7 months.
