 Moorhead Public Schools let out for the summer.

Students say they work hard all year waiting for this moment…summer vacation.

It’s a chance for them to put away their school books and get a break from homework and studying.

Instead, many say their time will be filled with nothing but fun and the great outdoors.

Moorhead First Grader Ryder Offerdahl says, “I am going to have my birthday in June and then I am going to have tee–ball and golf.”

The first day of class for the Moorhead Public Schools 2015–2016 academic year is Tuesday, September 8.
