Man Impaled After Falling Off Hot Tub

A man is impaled in the leg after falling off the side of a hot tub outside a Golden Valley home.

Authorities say the incident happened late Saturday night. A man who had been drinking fell and a fence post went through his thigh.

Firefighters had to cut the post and the victim was taken to the hospital with part of the wrought iron fence still in his leg.

Police say the man is lucky the post didn’t go through his abdomen or chest.
