Escaped Teen Captured in Mandan

A teen who escaped from a Mandan youth correctional center after injuring two guards has been caught.

The Highway Patrol says 17-year-old Malachi Redroad was captured around 11 o’clock last night in Mandan.

Authorities say Redroad and another teen assaulted two guards and escaped on

Saturday from the North Dakota Youth Correctional Center in Mandan.

The other juvenile, a 16-year-old boy, was captured Saturday.
