Changes for Local Senior Center
A senior center in Fargo is closing.
The Senior Center in the Northern Pacific Depot building will close after 34 years… but they have hopes of opening a new center.
The Park District Board will vote on a lease for a new location.
If it passes, the center will take the place of Hair Success Salon at 1461 North Broadway.
Valley Senior Services Bret Arett said, “We’re excited to be moving to a location in north Fargo, that’s surrounded by older homes, lots of older people living in that area. We just think it’s going to be a super location.”
If passed, the center is expected to open at the end of the year.
