5th Annual Golf Tournament for Local Organization

A local non-profit organization takes their mission to the links.

The River Keepers hosted its 5th annual Golf Scramble at the Moorhead Country Club.

Along with the tournament, games and door prizes were available to golfers.

The non-profit organization hopes the golf scramble helps raise funds to protect the natural environment.

River Keepers Board President Barry Nelson said, “You get to play right on the banks of the Red River and we’re all about the Red River. We’re all about how do we live not only on but with the river and really celebrate the beauty that it brings to our communities.”

Almost 100 golfers participated in this year’s tournament.
