Interstate 29 Pavement Project Begins

Work on a 12 mile stretch of I-29 that will extend into Fargo later this summer is now underway.

Crews are beginning work at the Oxbow and Davenport exit and will work their way north into Fargo.

Traffic control is in place for a stretch of about five miles.

Deteriorated concrete will be removed and replaced.

Some minor work will also be done on ramps and overpasses in the project zone.

Workers will move north to Main Avenue in Fargo in a few weeks and you’ll find reduced traffic speeds.

The entire project should be wrapped up in September.
