Passerby Rescues Detroit Lakes Man from River After Accident
A man is pulled from the Otter Tail River near Perham after his car lands in the water.
Minnesota State Patrol says 75-year-old Kermit Lyngaas of Detroit Lakes was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
The accident happened around 2:30 this afternoon and Lyngaas’ car floated about 100 yards downstream before a passer-by rescued him.
