West Fargo Rec Center Groundbreaking

 A 44,000 square foot recreation center breaks ground in West Fargo.
 
The Rustad Recreation Center is being built southwest of Costco between Freedom Elementary School and Trinity Catholic School and future church.

The center will provide two indoor high school regulation basketball courts, a youth gym, batting cages and more.
There will be no membership fee and it will be open to the public.
 
“At this park, we’re going to offer the ability for people to get out and recreate and participate in indoor activities, so they can go out and enjoy the park, and really it’s usable 365 days out of the year,” said Barb Erbstoesser with the West Fargo Park District.
 
The center is expected to open in summer 2016.
