Pedal Pub Hit By Alleged Drunk Driver

Police believe the driver who rear-ended a pedal pub in Minneapolis was drunk.

Authorities say 12 people were taken to the hospital last night.

Four remained hospitalized this morning and were in satisfactory condition.

A Minneapolis police spokesman says the pedal pub tipped over in the crash and trapped some of the riders. Passersby helped free them.

The 35-year-old driver of the car was arrested.

Pedal pubs are slow-moving party vehicles that are steered by an official driver while riders pedal.
