DUI Head-On Crash Sends Carrington Woman to the Hospital

A Carrington woman was rushed to a Fargo hospital after an accident in Foster County.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol says 18-year-old Cassandra Deal was hit head-on by a vehicle that crossed the center line.

The driver, 48-year-old Marvae Gussiaas of New Rockford, was charged with DUI.

Deal’s injuries are unknown.

The accident happened around 7:45 last night on Highway 200, 3 miles east of Carrington.
