Supreme Court Rejects Fargo Man’s Illegal Search Case

The U.S. Supreme Court has declined the case of a Fargo man, arrested when police took a drug-sniffing dog into his apartment complex without a warrant.

Matthew Nguyen was arrested in December 2012 and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver.

Police got into his apartment complex when a woman opened the door.

Nguyen argued it was a violation of privacy.

The state Supreme Court earlier ruled that the search was legal.
