Fargo Birthday Party Ends in Roof Rescue

A stern warning from Fargo police after four young men had to be rescued from a church roof.

Police say the men were celebrating a friends 21st birthday when they ended up on the roof of Elim Lutheran Church in north Fargo.

Firefighters helped the men down around 3 this morning.

Officer Dave Cochran says the four were cooperative, shook hands with offficers, and apologized for the trouble. Cochran says “Lesson learned…alcohol and height’s don’t mix.”
