Heitkamp Announces $1.6 Million for Cancer Prevention

Senator Heidi Heitkamp knows the importance of cancer awareness and prevention.

The breast cancer survivor says $1.6 million in federal funding will help make sure all North Dakotans are safe and healthy.

The money is going to the North Dakota Department of Health Cancer Prevention and Control.

The program works to make sure everyone has access to screenings, treatment and rehabilitation care.
