Utility Scammers Show Up at Door, Demand Payment or Else

A warning about utility bill scammers.

Better Business Bureau of Minnesota and North Dakota says fraudsters are calling or even showing up at people’s homes telling them their bills are overdue and must be paid immediately.

They claim that unless payment is made, service will be halted immediately.

They say do not make payments on the spot, contact your utility companies directly and call police.
