Update: Boat Found In Red River Stolen, No Body Found

UPDATE: Law enforcement searched for hours late Friday night and into Saturday morning for a reported missing fisherman in the Red River.
The search was called off around 12:30 Saturday morning when authorities learned the fisherman reported the boat stolen on July 8.
Fargo firefighters and police went to 52nd Avenue South near the Convent landing when a person saw a boat floating, unmanned.
Firefighters had searched the river for a possible missing person.

Fargo firefighters responded to the boat launch on 52nd Avenue South just after 11pm where they discovered a boat on the Red River.
They did a river search and it is believed a fisherman is missing.
Police and an ambulance crew also responded to the scene.
