Thousands Left Without Power
Thousands of homes are left without power in Minneapolis after major storms.
Gusts up to 70 mph and one reported tornado touchdown, left trees down in the twin cities area last night.
Xcel Energy reported about 132,000 customers remain without power today.
Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton spoke on how the storms could’ve been a lot worse in the Brainerd lakes area.
Governor Mark Dayton said,”This was more hit and miss, which was thank goodness for the parts that were miss. It had the look of a tornado effect in terms of here it’s totally wiped out and then next to it there’s no damage at all.'”
No injuries were reported from last nights storm.
