Minnesota Man Given Prison for Sex Offender Registration Violation

A northern Minnesota man is given one year in prison for violating his sex offender registration status.

37-year-old Christopher Rux of Oklee pleaded guilty in May to failing to register a secondary address with local authorities.

The level 3 offender was found to be staying at a house in Oklee that was in violation of his registration status.

Rux is being held in Crookston until he is turned over to the department of corrections.
