Travelers on I-29 may need to take alternate routes Sunday evening.

A road blow up has occurred on southbound Interstate 29 at the 17th Avenue South overpass across all four traffic lanes and shoulder.

North Dakota DOT says drivers should expect significant traffic delays in the area.
