Confirmed Tornado Tears through Tolna

The National Weather Service has confirmed that storm damage in Tolna was caused by a tornado.

The tornado hit July 23rd and was rated an E-F-1, with an estimated wind speed of 110 miles per hour.

It was on the ground for about 4 minutes and left a half mile of uprooted trees and debris.

A communications tower was also bent and the twister blew a storage building off its foundation.

No injuries were reported.
