WE Fest is just a day away from its 2015 kick–off.

Those who are headed out to this year’s festival will be able to enjoy their time with less hassle.

KVRR’s Brittany Ford has the latest new features the fest has added.

Camp grounds are beginning to fill as WE Fest is just one day away.

Event organizers say they took to Facebook, and noted all the ways they could make the festival more accommodating for attendees.

“We’ve done a lot on the grounds just in terms of landscaping, and sort of spiffing the look and feel of the facility. We’ve added a lot in camp grounds,” says John Gourley We Fest Director of Marketing.

More portable showers have been added to the camp grounds, and stations that provide necessities to reduce the trips campers will have to make to town.

A WE Fest first this year is the new app.

Using the We Fest app attendees can drop pins to find friends, campsites, and even the latest in clothing wear.

One attendee expressed that he will definitely being making use of the new app.

“I like how you can find people on the app, because we lost my friend for probably eight hours last year,” says WE Fest Attendee Lucas Johnson.

The WE Fest walk of fame will also feature a new addition.

A space has been added where people will have the chance to sign their name and take selfies.

This is Wendy Sue’s first time to WE Fest.

By winning a local karaoke contest, she will be creating her own walk to fame by opening for Miranda Lambert.

“I’m just looking forward to all the positive vibes that are going to be ongoing from everyone. Everyone out here they’ve left everything behind and there coming here to have a great time,” says Wendy Sue Pedginsky of the Twin Cities.

Tickets and campsites are still available.
