Many weighed in on the the front-runner, Donald Trump.
Here’s KVRR’s Brittany Ford.
People from across the nation will be tuning in for the first 2015 Republican presidential debate.
Some just to see what Donald Trump will say next.
“I think he’s a fool so I think it will be entertaining to watch him,” says Diego Sufi.
He also shared that he thinks Trump’s bid in the presidential race will be short lived.
“I don’t think he will make it all the way, but it’s going to push everybody else to bring their A game so they are going to have to compete with him if they want to be president.”
We spoke with one Trump supporter who says he plans on watching the debate for Trump to show doubters that he is fit to be president.
“I will be watching, and I’m looking forward to Trump being the president. I like Trump. Coming from New Jersey I’ve seen the work he has done in Atlantic City. Trump for President. I like Trump,” says Rolf Charles.
A few of the top ten candidates that will be take Trump on in the debate include former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, and former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee.
“Others will be watching the debate so they can make an informed decision.”
“I do on plan on watching the debate tonight. I think it’s going to give better insight into what the candidate’s views are, and some of the big issues…I’m actually looking forward to it,” says Audrey Farol.
