Larimore Teen Saves Building from Burning to the Ground

A 13 year old girl is being credited with helping save an entire building from burning to the ground.

Authorities say the girl spotted a fire at 620 Towner Avenue in Larimore last Monday and ran to the gas station to call 9-1-1.

She didn’t know the exact address but was able to give a detailed description of the area.

Firefighters quickly arrived and put the fire out.

They say it started from improperly discarded smoking material in a plastic flower pot.

The teen will be honored for her quick thinking actions at Larimore City Hall on Friday morning.
