Sandwich chain “Firehouse Subs” stands by its pledge to give back to our local law enforcement.

The company gave over $20,000 to the Cass County Sheriff’s office through its Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation.

The money has been raised locally by allowing customers to round up their bill to the nearest dollar, by selling buckets and through donation canisters at the counters.

26 officers at the department have new tactical gear accessories and medical kits thanks to the funds provided.

Sheriff Paul Laney said, “With their generous donation we have been able to outfit all of our patrol deputies and a number of our field deputies. with these ballistic vests that do stop rifle rounds, they do protect our people in that type of situation.”

Along with the donation the restaurant celebrated its one year anniversary at its location along Veterans Boulevard in Fargo.
