$385,000 Outdoor Projects Grant
North Dakota’s congressional delegation says the state is getting a $385,000 federal grant to support outdoor recreation and conservation projects in the state.
The money comes from the U.S. Department of Interior and is part of a nationwide grant of $42 million to all 50 states.
Officials say each state is able to determine how to use the federal funding.
It can be used to develop public parks, preserve access to rivers or public lands and conserve landscapes for public use.
