Former Moorhead Mayor to Receive Legacy Leader Award

A major honor for former Moorhead mayor and state representative Morrie Lanning .

He will receive the 2015 Legacy Leader Award from the Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Chamber.

The award recognizes the contributions of long-time local leaders in both shaping and serving The Chamber, metro and region.

Lanning served on the Moorhead city council and spent two decades as mayor before serving 10 years as District 9A Representative.

He’ll be honored at The Chamber’s Annual Meeting on September 24 at the Holiday Inn in Fargo.
