Starting Wednesday, Fargo Police will be doing additional traffic enforcement around NDSU.
Police are advising anyone who goes through the area to drive carefully and slow down.
They say it’s to make sure the roads are safe with an increased amount of traffic coming through the area.
NDSU students will be moving into the residence halls this weekend.
“It’s just a traffic blitz; they’re just cracking down on distracted driving, speeding. Different types of quality of life issues that are caused by an increased amount of volume of traffic,” said Fargo Police Department Officer Jessica Schindeldecker.
Authorities say they ramp up enforcement annually around this time of year.
