Fake Money Discovered in Fargo Walmart Parking Lot

Someone lost money but it’s doubtful they’ll claim it.

Fargo police were called to the 13th Avenue Walmart after two, $50 bills were found in the parking lot.

The bills turned out to be counterfeit.

An alert clerk at Holiday on North University Drive questioned a customer after he attempted to buy a pack of cigarettes with a $20 dollar bill that was clearly counterfeit.

Police are investigating.
