Metro Street Crimes Unit Says More Arrests Possible

The Metro Street Crimes Unit is being credited with taking down a gang member and more arrests could be coming.

Fargo Police Chief Dave Todd says the unit has been gathering intelligence on known gang members and their associates for nearly two-years.

They arrested 31 year old Alberto Cuellar this week for holding a fellow gang member hostage, beating and burning him.

He escaped after four days and sought refuge at Nativity Church.

Todd says the Latin Kings have been trying to establish a presence in the F-M area since this summer.

Other major gangs in the metro include the Lic Squad, Fast Money Boyz and the Squad 400 Boys.
