Fargo Police Chief Candidates Narrowed Down to Four
The committee working to find a new Fargo police chief has narrowed the field from 22 applicants down to four.
Two internal candidates remain in the running including interim chief Dave Todd and Lt. Joel Vettel.
The others are the police chief of Crowley, Texas and a Captain with the Charlotte, North Carolina Police Department.
The committee will interview the finalists October 8 and 9.
Interim Chief Dave Todd has been in the position since Keith Ternes resigned last November amid management issues and low morale in the department.
