Mountain Lion Euthanized After Car Crash in Ramsey County

A mountain lion hit by a vehicle last night in Ramsey County has been euthanized.

The crash happened west of Lawton and a Game and Fish supervisor says that’s unusual.

He says northeastern North Dakota is not prime mountain lion habitat.

Game and Fish will take possession of the young male lion carcass for study purposes.

The driver of the vehicle was not hurt.
