Crookston Woman Killed, One Injured in Polk County Motorcycle Crash

One person is dead and another hurt after a motorcycle and deer collide in Polk County.

The Sheriff’s Office says the crash happened on a county road northeast of Crookston about 8:45 last night.

They say 44 year old Corey Reitmeier was the driver.

His passenger, a 43-year-old Crookston woman, died at the scene.

Her name has not been released.

Reitmeier was taken to the hospital in Crookston with non-life-threatening injuries.
